I've been here many times over the past year and I have yet to be disappointed! Their food is so tasty and I especially love all the complimentary banchan they give (my favorites are the bean sprouts, mashed potato and kimchee~). My go-to order has been the beef sundubu-jjigae with a freshly cracked egg(-: And of course, I have to say yes when they offer a side of rice. It's such a great place to get a comfortable meal or just to gather with some friends (although be aware that lines and wait times may get excessive, especially during peak hours). On the pricier side, but that's to be expected of establishments operating on the west side of LA. I have never left this place not feeling full and content :D

Nothing that will blow your mind but its pretty solid. Not a lot of Korean spots in the area and on the westside so this one does the trick when you want Korean. Definitely a bit better than the Tofu Ya just a block down the street but there's usually a line, especially on weekends.

I've been coming here for years (first soondubu ever!) and can say this restaurant is consistently incredible. There's enough soup options that every time I've come I get something different. From dumplings, to beef, to tofu, to kimchi; the food is exceptional every time. In my most recent experience dining here, I tried the bulgogi combo for the first time and the meat was so flavorful and deliciously marinated. Everything is always so fresh and because of all of this, Seoul House of Tofu has been one of my restaurant staples since moving to LA. Seating can be tricky. Usually, you have to place your name on a list before being seated and all members of the party must be present before sitting (at least during busier times). I've been here at other times where it is really quick and easy to get seated. Though with the location right in the heart of Sawtelle there are so many options to walk around and enjoy if you do have to wait to be seated! Food generally comes out very quickly and the service is prompt, regardless of how busy the restaurant is.

this place had great food! i came for a friends bday and it was a nice and lively atmosphere to celebrate. we were very satisfied with everything we got. i love their side dishes as well. the servers were super sweet and attentive. kimchi tofu soup: 5/5 -- ate with rice and it was a nice level of spice. spicy pork bulgogi: 5/5 -- the meat was nicely seasoned! good portion too. yogurt soju cocktail: 4/5 -- the soju flavor was pretty strong

The medium level spiciness for the soup seems to be the perfect level that I like. The mild seafood tofu was just okay but the medium beef soup is pretty good. The tofu is very soft and silky. There were 6 different banchans and they're generous with topping them up when we asked for it. Service is good, we like the ice cold water filled with ice cubes, fresh and refreshing served to us immediately as soon as we're seated. Tables are always filled but turnover is quite fast.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night since we were curious on how this compared to all the other big name soft tofu restaurants in LA. Had to wait an hour for us to sit as it was a packed night. Service was really good considering how busy it was. Ordered the tofu and hot stone bowl combo and honestly, we could've just shared the hot stone bowl because it was really big. Did not disappoint hot stone bowl was extremely and crispy. Beef tofu soup was extremely well seasoned and did not have any salty or lingering taste. Side dishes were also tasty and complemented well with our main dish Recommendations: Beef Tofu Hot Stone bowl Definitely will be back to try some of their other options like the galbi combo. The restaurant is really well lit and has a lot of tables but definitely gets busy during rush hour.

I have been skeptical about this place for a while due to the mixed reviews, but this being my first time I was pleasantly surprised. Not too long of a wait, decently priced combo, excellent service. Hope to make this a regular stop in my rotation.

After a night out, I knew I needed some form of soup to help me out. Spicy is the first thing on my mind and what's better than some soondubu! I've tried BCD and Kaju and this place is on the list when I'm in LA now. I got the Kim Chi Beef Soon Tofu (Medium Spice). The spice was perfect and not overpowering with the flavor at all. There was enough meat and tofu in the small bowl so I was full by the end of it. It also comes with a rice so you can get your carbs in as well! The Ban Chan provided tasted fresh and we couldn't get enough of the refills by the end of it. I'd definitely check this out again when I'm in LA.

It was moderately busy during a Friday lunch around 12pm and we were seated immediately. Service was friendly and prompt. Water was brought to the table immediately. We ordered two soon tofus, one with veggie dumplings and one with kimchi. It was very flavorful and came out fast. There were 6 dishes of banchan; I wish there were a few more. It's a little pricey, yet it's West LA and to be expected. There is a small parking lot out front. The ambiance is simple, modern and clean.
